"Painting is my meditation, my time to focus on beauty and what moves me. I believe there's a need for imagery that soothes our senses and feeds our spirit. Taking the time to get lost in the world of a painting is one my most luxurious experiences. It gives me refuge from a world of visual over stimulation... a world where images are meant to shock me or sell me something, grabbing my attention from a bill board on the side of a building, or beside the freeway. For me, living with beautiful imagery is a must. I bring it into my home and make it a part of my daily experience. A life without art, would be an uninspired life."
